I’m Gareth Manuel, a software engineer and engineering leader with over twenty years of experience building products, teams, and technology organisations.

I’ve worked across fintech, telco, investment banking, security services, logisitics, higher education, digital agencies, and enterprise software — in Adelaide, Sydney, Zurich, and London.

I started writing the Frontier Manifesto because I am seeing a pattern emerging: organisations deploying AI tools without a framework for what to do with them. Individual productivity improving. Organisational capability staying flat. And engineers — the people closest to the problem — left to figure it out alone.

I believe AI builds Time. This publication is about how organisations that own their technology outcomes can capture it.
